Never put Dr. on anything. As far as airline tickets, I think it depends on the city. Dr. at the Philadelphia airport would guarantee hassles from the infamous TSA.Luanne

Right after SO got her MD license, I was so proud of her that I ordered her like 250 address labels that say "Dr. [name] [name]," but she got all embarrassed that I included "Dr." on it. Oops. She doesn't ever use the "Dr." thing unless it's for work purposes, but her dad writes "Dr." on all the mail he sends to her, which I think is cute.

When mailing things its proper etiquette if you're going to use Mr. to use Dr. In fact any time you are going to use Mr it should be Dr. So if you have address labels that read Mr and Mrs it should be Dr and Mrs and if you put a prefix on anything it should be Dr. When right out asked for a prefix DH uses Dr but most of the time he just ignores that field.Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.
