    I think this is a point that most medical spouses and other "trailing" spouses reach eventually. We get it...even those of us who are still at a training stage. You've come to the right place! But please understand that this is a *support* site. People who are sharing their burdens here aren't "whiny" or "waiting and moaning". Everyone's life is different, and you might find a lot in common with people who seem on the surface to be far removed from your own experiences.

      We are all different. MD/PhD here, last year or residency. 3 kids. Stopped working outside home before Residency started. Feeling resentment now as kids get less needy (12, 5, 3) and I try to find my place in life. Finally at the end of training and I pray that I get my husband back after training!
