Hi I'm Cinderella and I just started decorating and getting back into the holidays after 18 years of supporting myself. I always felt I was too poor to afford to celebrate. I've come to realize that hell I've been poor a super long time now and it's not getting any better so I might as well cheer up my depressed ass and go to the dollar store and have some fun.

Hi, my name is Veronica and I can't keep up with the laundry. I was so behind that NO ONE in my house had clean jeans. I wore cargo capri pants to take DH to the light rail station this morning. I did change into a maxi skirt when I got home, but until I was changed into acceptable clothing I had this fear that LSW would see me in my old olive green cargo capris from the Gap outlet.

I just got back from the Gap outlet! I got 3 items and I'm pretty sure only one has the potential to be LSW approved...

My name is MrsK and I've gone to Target three times in the last two weeks looking for a specific set of toddler bedding that is out of stock. Each time, I have left Target with at least $100 worth of merchandise other than the toddler bedding. Why does the bedding have to be in the back of the store?

And the worst part of this is that the reason I keep returning to the store instead of just ording on line is because I don't want spend money on shipping.

Target is a money pit like no other. Last week I went in for a Glucosamine supplement for our dog, and came out dazed and battered, with four bottles of nail polish, a neon colored wallet, a pair of shoes, pajama pants, two bags of different flavored coffee (we don't drink flavored coffee) and two throw pillows. Oh, and I forgot the glucosamine.

How do they do it? Are we hypnotized by their logo? This time, I left with 2 dresses, a top, a sweater, 15 little elmo books (party favors for K2's birthday, they were 50c each -- I have no idea how many kids are actually coming to this party and I've already bought bubbles at 30c each, sticker sheets at 30c each, and elmo bath fizzy-dye at $1ea for party favors -- $2.10 per kid isn't bad, right? right?), a tablecloth, and three boxes of peeps. I really should just buy the toddler bedding on line and just let a couple t-shirts or something jump into the virtual cart to make the $50 minimum for free shipping. It's still a lot less than spending $300+ over the course of three trips to Target. . . but not nearly as much fun! Gosh, I love Target. . .

I bought a pair of shoes there last night. I already own that pair of shoes (white crocheted Toms knock offs), but mine are already getting ratty and they had it in my size...and I don't want them to be gone the next time I go!
