Yup. Everyone who is worried about being in your 30's, stop it! Enjoy it, because the years go by WAY too fast.

Yeah, 30 isn't bad. Although I could really do without the "you're 30, unmarried, childless, and still don't know what you want to be what you grow up? And you still rent?! Well at least you don't look older than 24, so you can get away with it" comments that I get.

                    I hate people.

Seriously? I *loved* 30. In fact, for five years I had an annual 30th birthday celebration (until DrK took me on this nomadic medical journey which has us moving just after my birthday every year). At 30, I was finally an adult and I could own my decisions, manage my life, and reject what others' advise with confidence. And, cp, I was unmarried and childless too.

I turned 30 in March. Seems pretty good so far. I envisioned this at 15 and some things are very different and some things are exactly the same as I pictured (the really tall husband ironically). It's a lot better than I thought it might be.

I must be such a weirdo. While I'm devastated daily that my children are growing, I love every year I gain! I look toward so many older, wiser women and strive to be just like them (okay, maybe not just because I am pretty awesome, myself). I really hope it never changes. Maybe 40 will hit hard, but so far, the thirties have been pretty great.

Yep, I'm loving my 30s so far! My early 20s were fun when I was in college, but mid to late 20s sucked worse than my teenage years! (Partly due to the medical training, but mostly just the sense of not having any idea what I was doing...)
