What did you guys do this weekend?

Dh was post call on Saturday, so I went to a pool party for a friends college son.
Lots of fun and way to much sun.
Then dh and I laid around at the pool all day today and drank piñas.

I love summer weekends!!

We went to my 20 year high school reunion! It was so much fun!

Contractions. Lots of contractions, fewer contractions, different contractions. I'm physically and mentally exhausted.

On a funny note, DD thinks that "Happy Father's Day" means going to do something fun with Mommy and Daddy.
A: "Bye byes Mommy Daddy"
DH: "Where would you like to go?"
A: "HAPPY FATHERS DAY!!!!!!!" (With a huge smile)

Brunch. Saturday with Dh's college friends and their spouses/SOs. Sunday with the residency. It was a very yummy weekend.

Last night we went on a date. Went to see Star Trek (loved it) and then out to eat at a place I had been wanting to try.

We've spent the last 7 hours working on the vacation schedule for all the residents. I've gone a bit loopy.

Saturday, DrK went to a conference three hours away to review the new DSM-V. It was hot and I was without a car (since DrK's car is in the shop) so I entertained the boys at home.

Today, attempted K2's 2yo portraits. He wasn't cooperating so we expect mostly pics of him scowling at the camera. However, K1 was a very enthusiastic photo bomber. k

Fun birthday party yesterday for a friend of R's. GREAT date night last night with our best friends here and a worthless day at home while DH assembled his components in the new TV stand - good news is its working, bad news is it took all day. Then dinner with his parents which was good.

DH came home and we worked out together Saturday morning, ate Chick-fil-a (which is his fav) - pretty much ate anything I might have burned , went to the jewelry store because DH had ordered me anniv band that had come in, went wine tasting and then out to eat. Being apart sucks but when we get together it is like dating again.

Today, he cleaned out the gutters and helped me tidy up our big ass yard while I bathed the two beasts. Looking forward to sleeping with a pup that does not smell like stale fritos.

Returned from visit to in-laws. Picked up DD1 from camp. Spent entirely too much time in the car. Hung out at the neighbor's fire pit drinking beer. Took DD3 to a play date, while DDs2 and 4 went shopping with me to find an outfit for residency graduation. I own one dress and one skirt and nothing appropriate. DH and I attended the peds residency graduation where DH got a faculty teaching award. The food sucked so we went out after for appetizers and beer. We trimmed all the bushes outside and swam with neighbors until a monsoon hit us. Tonight I made sweet potato and quinoa chili. So good!

Pool party Friday night. Laundry Saturday a.m., then lunch as a family and went to a park to watch my dad play in a concert. Out with friends Sat night....very fun. Church this morning, then took my dad out to lunch (belated father's day celebration). Cane home and took a nap, then went to Monsters U as a family, followed by dinner with the boys. It was a beautiful evening, so DH and I dropped the boys off at home and then went for a drive out in the country. Came home, watched a couple of episodes of "24" (we never watched it the first time around....we're on Season 4) and saw the end of the tightrope walk across the Grand Canyon. It was a fun weekend!

DC visiting my grandparents. National Gallery yesterday. Zoo today with a yummy crab dinner in Annapolis this evening. Tomorrow is Alexandria then home. N is tolerating my 80+ year old eccentric grandma well. Said grandma is being especially patient with N and has claimed she has inherited her...wait for it...upper lip. She has said this at least 25 times yesterday and today.

Went to Houston for weekend, saw friend, made friend dinner (Canton style Chinese BBQ chicken stir fry), drove back, picked up DH from airport, ate dinner, laid around in my jams starting at 6:30pm.

Greek restaurant with my cousins for a girls' night yesterday and frozen yogurt with an old friend tonight. Yum!

Started back to work for the same company but in my new city. Its so slow here. I don't know if I can take it much longer and I just started. Applied for three new jobs tonight. Hoping and praying that I can start working at DD's preschool this fall as the PT music teacher and dump this other job.

We had a great weekend! Friday - test drove a Porsche convertible just for fun, out to dinner, then saw, "Book of Mormon." Saturday - puppy school, upgraded/replaced the rod in DD#2's closet with a closet system, went out for Lebanese food with the kids, and watched the Stanley Cup finals. Sunday - took the kids to the pool, came home & turned on the sprinkler, went out for Mexican, came home and played. This post is telling me to get to the store and cook dinner tonight.
