I have to wash every morning and night because I wear makeup almost everyday. Here's the link I was reading: http://www.thelovevitamin.com/3819/c.../#.Uq6S-PvvfAM
She's hardcore and doesn't even use water.

So, I rinse my face with water in the shower (daily or every other day) and lightly exfoliate with a washcloth once a week. I don't wear makeup very often though, so that helps. Anyway, it works for me!
DH swears by this method. Says he had terrible acne and no treatments worked until he simply stopped washing his face. But if my face is feeling greasy I'll just wash with scentless bar soap, which might be about once or twice a month. Regardless, in winter I moisturize after every shower and face is still dry.

DH rarely washes his face al almost never has a blemish...

I think it'd actually probably be effective for me as well but I wear full makeup everyday...

Strikes me as funny that this would be a trend when Clarisonic face brushes and cleansers have been so popular.

+1 more for the lazy method. I rarely wear makeup, and rarely wash my face.

I don't always wash my face if I haven't been wearing makeup, and sometimes will do the warm water and washcloth method, but it doesn't work as well. Makeup or not, my skin looks way better when I wash with a mild cleanser and a face brush, and moisturize after with the face oil I've mixed for myself. If I've been wearing makeup and I'm feeling lazy, sometimes I'll use face wash wipes - I love having these around for traveling - but those don't do my skin any favors either. Gotta wash, scrub, and moisturize for the best results.
