We went to a party for the first half with our church friends. 20+ kids under the age of 8. Hopped up on sugar (the rock candy table decorations in team colors probably seemed like a good idea at the time...). It was fun, but insane!

Footballs off. Downton Abbey's on! I feel bad for the Bronco's.

I don't even remember the half-time show other than one song of the RHCP set.

I'm gobsmacked. Never thought it would be such a huge win. Totally felt it was going to be a 3-point game. Wow.

I feel AWFUL for Manning. He had an ah-mazing game. Seriously, dude broke records. And still lost. By a LOT. Broncos were simply dominated by the better team.

I was shocked by the score of 43 -8. I didn't see that coming either. I like the meme's going around on facebook but of course being in the PNW all I'm seeing is Seahawk fan stuff in my news feed. My extended family posted their going nuts and celebrating videos and I got a good laugh from that.

We went to a party with some of DH's coworkers. Honestly, going to football watching parties with the kids isn't much fun for me. I barely got to watch any of it. We left soon after halftime since it was their bedtime. I'll be looking up commercial recaps today!

This is the radio shack commercial, I thought it was the best of the night.

Omg, they're predicting over 300,000 people (but preparing for 500,000) at the parade tomorrow. Crazy! Seattle Public Schools will be in session, but they're allowing kids to go if they are able/want to. I think this thing is gonna be huge...

I have friends who work downtown and usually bus in. One of them posted about 10pm that he really should start heading in to work in an hour or so, to get there on time. They're anticipating much pain getting to and from work today.

Wouldn't surprise me. I'd LOVE to be there today, but I really don't want to brave the mountain passes in February when we're having crappy weather.

I LOVED that commercial!! Way to own your self-awareness!!! I also really liked the Doritos time machine commercial. I laughed hard at that one.

I'd say 3/4 of the kids were there in dd's class (she's only pre-k though), and over half the school is missing in the upper grades. It was funny to see the sparse drop-off line.

Still riding high on the WIN! SOOOOO FUN!

There were over 650,000 people downtown for the parade according to the Seattle police. I didn't go (not dragging a 5 year old there in 20 degree weather) but both of my older kids had only half of their classmates in attendance on parade day. A lot of people where I live took the ferry north to Seattle and walked in -- but getting on the ferry was tricky. If you weren't in line at 6:00 for a 7:30 ferry you probably didn't make it in the "foot traffic" line. Crazy.

                              GOO HAWKS!!!
