My van doors keep refreezing despite vigorous blow drying. I'm stuck driving Andrew's car now that we have had AAA out to jump it. It's missing a headlight. He had an accident and the shop can't take it until Feb. 13th. I have to drive home from the Cities tonight at 9pm. Ugh.
I am just whining to hear myself whine I think. I just can't believe we have another two months left of winter.~Mom of 5, married to an ID doc

At 7am this morning I put on my snow boots and dragged our trash and recycling cans out to the curb through at least 4 inches of snow because we missed trash day last week and the garage was starting to smell. Now, almost two hours later, I get a text that they're not picking up trash today - GRR!!
Clearing the driveway yesterday was no big deal because it was warm, today the windchill is negative - UGH!Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.

Another snow day today....we got ~7 inches last night, I think. We will now be adding two days on to the end of the school year. Supposed to have lows below zero Thursday and Friday, and we're expecting more snow this weekend. OVER IT!Wife of an OB/Gyn, mom to three boys, middle school choir teacher.

Did yinz see the weather report for this weekend?! They're saying it's likely to turn into a BLIZZARD. What new hell is Mother Nature dishing out now... oh right, same hell, larger quantities. I hope the reports change a million times (like they always do) and away from the blizzard. A foot or two of snow is too much for any area to take... especially now that we've all endured vortexes, piles of snow, sheets of ice, and rain for days. This winter is going to be a memorable one - for sure if there is a blizzard. The one article I read said it would be worse than the blizzard of '93 which if I remember correctly kept me out of school for almost two weeks.
I'm thankful I don't have children to worry about but I worry about DrBtobe. He'll have to spend the night in an on call room - I can't have him on the roads in feet of snow. I'd lose my ever loving mind.
Hope you all have power out there today! Lots and lots of people have lost it with this storm that went through last night. Thankfully we didn't but I have a lot of friends who did.

Really? I'm still hearing just 2-4 inches this weekend for around here. I hear you about the driving though, DH has been driving home on Friday evenings and back to his rotation on Sunday evenings. It always seems to be right when we're getting snow or sleet, and I anxiously follow his GPS the whole way. Very thankful for AWD and all his winter driving experience.Wife of PGY-4 (of 6), cat herder, and mom to a sassy-pants four-nager.
