Just curious because I drink green tea every morning and I can't do coffee. What's your preference if you have one? Tea drinkers, do you like bags or loose leaf? Coffee people, are you particular about what you drink?

Tea or Coffee? Or Both?
Coffee in the morning-- strong and black. After about 11 I switch to tea. I like green tea, oolong tea, white tea... I have tea bags, but if I go to Peets I get loose leaf tea brewed there. Yum. I just discovered that I love Paneras selection of hot tea. After 4 pm I drink herbal tea-- mint mostly. I love licorice tea but it's hard to find.
I think I prefer tea to coffee actually, but must start the day with coffee nonetheless.
And yes-- very particular about coffee. Only dark roast, freshly ground, French press or americanos at coffee shops. Occasionally a latte, but I prefer the non flavored nonfat latte (so I can still be overpowered by the coffee taste).Peggy

Coffee in the morning for me with cream and sugar but never flavored coffee. Hate flavored coffees. After about noon I switch to tea. Either black or white tea, not a huge fan of green. I prefer loose leef but usually end up with bags for convenience. English breakfast is my all time favorite. I prefer my tea unsweetened.Tara

Neither. Love the smell of coffee but not the taste. Can't stand tea at all. DH can't have caffeine (palpitations) but likes decaffeinated tea.Wife of an OB/Gyn, mom to three boys, middle school choir teacher.

Both, heavily altered. I like my coffee-flavored sugar beverages. So tiny bit of coffee, lots of flavored syrup, lots of milk. I like my tea flavored such as lemon or peppermint or sleepytime with plenty of sugar. I probably drink coffee a bit more just due to access, though I think black coffee is absolutely disgusting. My record in a cup of coffee was 17 sugar packets. It was still too bitter. I gave up. Most of the time, 8ish packets are good. People gape at me in horror when they see me fix coffee. At Starbucks, I always order the white chocolate mocha which tastes nothing like white chocolate to me. At other coffee places, I typically order the caramel coffee latte.Heidi, PA-S1 - wife to an orthopaedic surgeon, mom to Ryan, 17, and Alexia, 11.

Vanquisher, I'm now picturing you as Buddy the Elf. That's some serious sugar love!

We used to have Peet's shipped in, bi-weekly, to our house here.
We have since found that Costco sells an organic blend that comes in 5 lbs, and we grind it at home right before brewing.
I like unsweetened iced tea with lemon, and will occasionally drink hot tea (peppermint, chamomile, etc) in the evening to help relax before bed.

It depends on my mood. I usually drink black coffee, but on specially occasions I'll get a plain skim latte. If I am craving something sweet, I'll do flavored. The coffee shop down our street makes an amazing skim honey latte that I kind of need right now. In the summer, I'm an iced coffee girl, but I haaaaate frapps. Don't even get me started on those.
I like hot tea, but I have to be in the right mood.I'm just trying to make it out alive!
