The people who act like getting a flu shot is overkill - "Don't poison your body!" - are the same people that are trying to sell something that I can take to prevent getting the flu. The difference is, what they're toting doesn't appear to be researched or FDA regulated.
...but the flu shot is poison.
I need to go drink my coffee. I'm such a grouch.

Someone posted in a Moms FB group about how her 3 month old was sleeping 9-10 hours a night and is all of a sudden waking up several times, and she has no idea what the deal is, because her son slept through the night at 7 weeks and never woke up again. Must have been nice, but welcome to the real world!Allison - professor; wife to a urology attending; mom to baby girl E (11/13), baby boy C (2/16), and a spoiled cat; knitter and hoarder of yarn; photographer

This is a friend of my cousin, but my cousin is not too bright, so I worry about it. Although based on the pics on FB, her daughter had a really bad reaction to the flu shot.Kris

I finally unfollowed the anti-vaxxer on my Facebook because she was she was going on, and on, and on about how unfair it was that the public school district was enforcing vaccination requirements -- she hadn't completed her exemption paperwork, so they kept her kids out of school. She spent days gnashing teeth and writing long posts and comments about this, at which point I was just done.Alison

Uuuuugh, anti-vaxxers drive me up a wall! What bothers me most is that if you Google any article they post, usually the first result is the article and all the rest of the results are very reliable sources debunking that article. So people not have brains? Oh, I forgot, you can't trust peer-reviewed journals. You should only trust this public health guy who dropped out of medical school. Ugh.
But I probably just cause myself more torture by Googling them in the first place. I should just unfollow and move on.
