Indiana has a new narc seeker law. I'm sure you can google the specifics, but there are a crap ton of hoops to jump through and it put the "sorry, Charlie" into the gov't's hands as opposed to the physician's.

Yes! Thanks I wanted to get the thought out, but didn't have time to find a link! My FIL (IM) really likes it - especially when on call

FWIW, DH has started pulling filled rx histories locally, showing them to his patients, and the drug seekers are backing off big time. Word is spreading fast that he won't give you what you want, and likes to pull files.

          Would that help T?

The drug-seekers know that care providers have access to the statewide controlled-substance script database. They still try to pull bullshit. He uses that database all. the. time. to call people out. Drug-seekers are dumb and listen to other addicts too much about what works. However, they don't seem to listen terribly well about which docs will and won't play the game.

Dh couldn't come to dd5 program either. We never tell the kids dad can come to anything during the weekday so it's never expected. But wth is with all these things during the workday? Even non-docs are working and unable to leave. Very few kids had both parents at ours today.

Dh started call Friday and we've seen very little of him. I'm looking forward to seeing him on Saturday!!

Mine's not going to be home again - at least not for a few hours. But it means I didn't have to cook again! Secretly not all that upset right now as I eat a very plain salad prepared in 3 min and some salmon from the prepared food section at WF. So easy and nothing to clean 😉

I have organic chemistry induced dementia, and I don't remember calling you a lunatic. But, if I did, you likely deserved it. Off to search.
