For me it is our cabin. We are on our last day of an 8 day vacation here and I don't want to go home. I wish I could leave our house behind and move in here full time.~Mom of 5, married to an ID doc

Wherever home happens to be at the moment. I don't care if we change cities or apartments, if I'm surrounded by familiar things, my cats, and my husband, I'm a happy camper. More specifically, my couch. It's super comfy, and the site of much snuggling, reading, and relaxing. Second to this is my BFF's couch, the site of many late nights of wine drinking and fun. I'm boring!Wife of PGY-4 (of 6), cat herder, and mom to a sassy-pants four-nager.

I have two places. One is the barn with my horse. The other is "home".
Home for me is at my friends house. She's 10 years older than me, Is my best friend, but was my teacher in HS. I lived with her and her family during some hard years.
My kids and I visited their family yesterday. Funny this thread came up, as my first thought pulling into their driveways was, home and a big sigh of contentment~shacked up with an ob/gyn~

I feel at home in a barn or out in the middle of nowhere. I like pasture grass, livestock, and dirt. The combination smell of feed/hay/old used leather in a tack room is very soothing to me.
The valley floor of Yosemite also comes to mind.

I've got lots of places. Being with the hubs is #1, because he is my home, regardless of where we are.
- beach, preferably uncrowded. Sitting and listening to the waves calms the anxiety in my brain.
- walking in the woods
-puttering around in the yard (outside is really my happy place)
- a nice couch, a fire, a book. The lights of a Christmas tree and a hot cocoa make it a super happy place
