We used our free time to go shopping for clothes for DH. It was fun! We found some stuff to replace his ratty old shirts and we both bought ourselves a pair of Sperrys. I've wanted some forever! He's agreed to dress a little more preppy and it's so much fun! I didn't even balk when the shirts at the Gap he picked out weren't on sale

It's now Saturday, but what the hay: My good Friday news was that I got to travel home to be with my family for a whole week! It took 13 hours of bus/plane/layover time to get here, but so worth it

My good Saturday news is that DH flies out to join me tomorrow It's been a super rough week for us, so this vacation is well timed.

It was DH's birthday on Friday. He just wanted to stay in and make dinner so we opened a bottle of wine and relaxed. Then he finished some homework before bed..... But I watched Netflix. Saturday I surprised him with an adventure in the local national park!
