    I posted this on FB

Someone posted it, dunno who, and I'm pretty sure there was nudity directly on my newsfeed.

I'm not offended but it was definitely a SHIT NSFW moment. Because I was totally at work

Does anybody assume FB is going to SFW all the time? You can't control what's in your feed, therefore it's all on you if you decide to look at FB at work. (Not directed at any one person, just my 2 cents)

Nudity doesn't shock or bother me one bit, but I agree somewhat with Ladybug that showing MORE nude ladies to combat body image stereotypes is meh, not really my idea of great activism. Just clickbait.

I do social media for my job, so I was just logging off my personal account on my laptop to update the page of one of my divisions. Naturally, that was top post on my feed.

Sure, I totally agree. But it's nice when it isn't there. Actually doesn't it technically violate Facebook's TOS?

So some of you feeds were showing naked women? I glanced, but didn't notice any nudity.

In my feed I thought one of the women either had a hernia or colostomy. I clicked to find out.

Eh, I can see why people would be a little shocked, but I don't think its not appropriate considering the amount of people who posted it. Of course your 70 yr old neighbor probably has a different democraphic of friends so perhaps its not on her scale/range of appropriate. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, it was def showing boobies in the general newsfeed. FB was probably afraid to censor lest the body image backlash hit them. I think that happened to Instagram last summer when they blocked a fat girl in skimpy ass baring shorts.

Um yeah, ok now I see it! Boobs and ass. I can see why some would not want that showing in their newsfeed, especially old people!

You were not the first person to post it on my feed… I thought the photos were lovely and tasteful.

Yes, you know what struck me? It's kind of the opposite of what I think the point of the exhibit was. I think this exhibit would have been much more salacious if the women had all had perfect bodies. Somehow, being sexually attractive turns a beautiful body shot in to porn instead of art. I suppose "what is porn" has more to do with the viewer than I ever imagined. It was a weird insight.
