  • Shaving your pits

Yep, I really just made this thread. I doubt it's going to get many responses, but....

I literally don't think I ever noticed a woman with unsaved pits before I moved here. Maybe in Europe. Yes, for sure in Europe, but that's pretty much it.

I am just amazed at the amount of unsaved armpits in this town. Like normal looking ladies lift their arms in workout classes, and it's like - "ah wow, ok.... Really?"

So is this super strange, or am I just super strange for never seeing this before?

Are you talking a couple days forgetting to shave or completely unshaven?

      Shaving your pits

Like a couple of months at least. I have no idea how long it would take to grow hair that long. I do not mean stubble, I forgot to shave these a few times.

Lol. In that case, I have not experienced that in my town.

I've only seen it with hippies.

I mean, they are not hippies either. If they were, I may understand. The ones I have seen have generally been in their late 40s or so. Very professional looking.

I'm glad that I'm ok bring freaked out by it!

If you want to kowtow to a beauty "requirement" that only came about because razor advertisers saw a market and exploited it 100 years ago, feel free. Shouldn't be a reason to look down on those that don't, though. *shrug*

Ha! Ok. Well I'm not sure I could do it, but good for her I guess. (I've spent a lot of time in Brooklyn, and I never noticed it as a trend).

But, I now know these few ladies I am talking about have let things flow for far longer than two months. I don't even think I would have really noticed the authors unshaved pits during a yoga class. It takes kind of a lot to distract me!

The last thing on my mind is shaving my pits. Sorry. I don't really care that much about it, tbh. If I get to it, I get to it. Sorry.

For me, long armpit hair means more stink. Dh shaves for that reason too.

Right? That's what I would think too.

Maybe they're growing it out for a wax?
