We live in the same city and I haven't noticed this. Then again I don't spend time in women's locker rooms or yoga classes. I think I saw this just once over the summer but can't remember where. Anyway, yeah, not attractive.

Yes, I'm not one to skip it for more than a few days. It only takes 2 minutes, and doesn't require much effort. My legs however, are another story. I'm happy I own a lot of tights. Lol
Hair removal has been going on for ages, though. It isn't all from the razor industry.

I think it went in to body hair as well --- from what I've read there is a hundreds year old Muslim custom of hairless women from their wedding night on. It's ritual. Can you comment on that Momo? Honestly, other readings talk about historical shaving and men. Let's face it, we have a body hair hang up. It's all associated with way more than just hair, mostly for women, yes -- but also for men.Angie

I went to a hippy liberal college. While there I learned to admire a female aesthetic either *with* a mature human woman's velvety underarms and plush pelted legs, or with those areas scraped hairless. I've grown my lovely hairs, I've shaved, I've forgotten to shave and been a stubbly mess for years. In the end it's pretty much my own business, right?Alison
