I'm not a huge fan of Halloween, but my kiddo (10) will be dressing up and DH is taking him out. I'll stay home with the dog who will be freaking out and hand out candy. I hope to not be able to eat too much, either through will power or morning sickness (waiting to see...), but if not morning sickness, then I'm sure I will!

Kiddo is going to be an army man (the little green toy guys). I just need to get his costume and spraypaint the heck out of it

It would be pretty easy to make a Wonder Woman shirt with a freezer paper stencil.

I would make DrK be a different superhero, but that's just because it would bother me to have two of the same. And I'm pretty sure I now have the final say in all family costumes

I convinced DH to be Mike Wasowski this year. He's never seen the movie so he has no idea that MW is the silly sidekick. We are watching it this week because he said he "wants to know who he is going to be for Halloween". Lol

The outside of the house is decorated we're not doing much on the inside this year, I can't handle any more chaos/mess in the house.

The kids will dress up though I have no idea as what. I bought A a beautiful homemade genie costume at a garage sale last year but I'm not sure if she's going to wear it. Since we're taking them to Disneyland the week before that has been more my focus. I need them to decide, soon!

DH and I won't dress up but our neighborhood is big into trick or treating, we'll light the fire pit on the driveway (hopefully) and pass out candy after we take the kids around the block.

A is going to be Cinderella and H is going to be Snow White. It's what A wanted, and I don't care. We don't/won't decorate. Trick or treating will be on the 30th through DH's work (inside!). That's it. A's birthday is 11/1, and we're having a breakfast party at the house and then driving to Chicago for my mom's 60th party that night, so that's my primary focus.

Both boys will be firefighters per my oldest's request. We have a preschool party/event the weekend before and will trick or treat the night of. I'm not dressing up just to wander around the neighborhood. I will eat lots and lots of candy, though.

Ugh! K1's school is having a trunk or treat. Since I'm a room mom, I have to get two cars, arrive during a specific 15 minute block, stay until the end, get parent volunteers to decorate my trunk, plan games or crafts for kids, collect a bag of candy from every parent in the class. ..... seriously? This is more work than necessary.

Me: Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter. Yeah, that character is not a huge stretch for me. LOL

DD is going as Cindy Lauper

DS5 is going as something Star Wars-y. Although we have to come up for something for his montessori school that is "nonviolent".

Superhero costumes purchased and now K1 wants to be a dinosaur and K2 wants to be a tiger. Tough luck kids. You're gonna be batman and the Hulk and you are going to be happy about it.

To go with our little strawberry.

Her costume is pretty much the cutest thing ever. Pictures to come tomorrow!
