I always read it 'house self'. Mind blown.

Is it funny that I remember when your username was pink______ and you googled it only to find out it was not a good thing. I still get a chuckle every now and then when cutting watermelon, and I have a son who loves the rind.

We now make our own pickled turnips and use cut raw beats to turn them the bright fuchsia color.
I was mortified when I found out pinkpickkes was listed on Urban Dictionary, as a euphemism for male genitalia!!

            1) a friend used to call me v-girl when she had too much to drink — guess my name is too long after a few drinks
            2) Texas — yes, it's the greatest state ever
            3) attending
            4) 3 kids, 1 not very smart labradoodle puppy

V-girl I didn't know your pup is a labradoodle!!! Our little one year old almost is too. And not very smart. Truly. She's the life of the party, but not smart. The airedale just is a genius in comparison. Too independent to actually follow commands well, but he knows them and rolls his eyes at her bc she just doesn't get it!!!! Lol.

Kolbe is more like a shag rug on LSD some days. He's adorable and DH specifically requested we not get a smart dog after the border collie who could turn on faucets and open gates.

My dad loves Labradors, and we always had one when I was growing up. They seemed to run at the extremes on the intelligence scale.

^^ Can confirm. Cooper is smart, but laaaaaaaaaaazy. When *he* wants to obtain something or get somewhere, it's really awesome to see him working out how to do it. He's smart, and sometimes sneaky, and calculating. You can almost see the wheels turning sometimes.

Then...there are times when you're on the beach and you show him you have a treat, then bury that treat in beach towel (all while he's watching) then tell him to find it and he starts trotting around all over, sniffing our fists and pockets and never actually looking or using his nose to seek out the treat that HE WATCHED US "HIDE". So...yeah. They run the gamut. Sometimes that gamut is run all in one dog.
