"Just For Today" megathread. Post little announcements, petty rants, small victories, and superficial confessions here for one day only. But please please please consider opening new threads too. We nosy chickens want to read all the details and talk everything over ad nauseum too.

    1. I forgot to start an October 15th News thread yesterday. Sorry!

I ran my errands this AM: 85 lb stroller, gallon of milk, 5 lbs of carrots, 2 6-packs of beer, yogurt, apples, and onion - just the essentials. I'm becoming very friendly with the guy that works at HT at 7 AM.

I got a delivery from Zulily yesterday, and it's the wrong item! Hopefully they at least give me a credit, although I was kind of excited about the cute little dress.

Blues Clues with Steve is on in the waiting room at therapy. I really should have made coffee this morning.

Does your insurance cover Walgreens? They have Flumist which is good for ages 2-49.

I'm caught up on laundry. It feels like witnessing a miracle.

Zulily service FTW! They contacted the vendor and requested that they send me the correct item, they gave me a $10 credit, AND I don't have to send back the wrong one.

Ours doesn't either, I ended up taking my kids to get theirs at the Target pharmacy (our insurance covered it).

No school today or Friday! I slept in until nearly 10! Yay!
MrsK, you are doing an awesome job of keeping up the daily news! I feel guilty for not helping!

I am LOVING the daily news FWIW, yay MrsK!

You need to check state laws on walk-in flu clinics. Ours does not allow kids under 4 to go to walk-ins but some states allow it at 2. Also, I'm paranoid but I want the shot for my kids. I prefer a killed vaccine vs. live attenuated where you're slightly more likely to get a minor version of flu post-vaccine. Ain't nobody got time for even mild flu in this house...

Ha T&S that makes me feel better because I chose the shot vs flumist for N and then felt guilty about it.

I've got a cold and decided to take a quick shower this morn to feel better. Of course BabyJ was up so I put him in the bathroom with me. The kid crawled INTO the shower. So I just stripped him and took him in with me. Both of my kids hunt me down when I take showers. They love them.

A got the shot, too! She actually chose to have the shot vs a "spray in her nose". I was happy with her choice
