  • Black Friday Shopping

Anyone going to do it this year?

I wasn't, but Amanda really wants to go and she couldn't find a friend to go with her. :/ I offered to step in and take her.

It's been a long time since I've been out on Black Friday. It looks like our shopping mall is open all night ... so I'm going to take her there. I have to pick my mom up from the airport tomorrow, so I can't stay out too late. She works today until midnight, so ugh.

I don't even know what deals to look out for .....

DH wants to go to Target for the iPad mini - comes with a target gift card. Not sure where else we'll go because I didn't see much else that looked worth the crowd. I am planning on going to buy yarn but don't think that'll be a big Black Friday hot spot.

I've never been brave enough or deal-savvy enough. And then I adopted Buy Nothing Day and I get to feel all purposeful instead of like a wuss who doesn't handle crowds well.

      Good luck!

I do plan to tackle Small Business Saturday. There's a holiday artisan market, a winter farmer's market, and of course our own downtown shops that I want to check out.

I did a couple of years ago at midnight and it was crowded and disappointing so only online this year. Gosh, I really dislike people.

I'm online only as well. There are plenty of deals to be had without me having to leave the house

Online only here, too. I'm way too cantankerous to deal with the masses. My fingers are itching to hit Joyfolie's sale at midnight so I'm staying up for that.

I bought t-shirts at roadkill for all of the kids and I got an Our Generation doll for S at target.com today.

We are going to the Galleria tomorrow for 50% off at Gap and cheap cute aerie undies. I'll be shopping online at Tea Collection and photo sites!

Not going out shopping tomorrow (except for a Christmas tree) but I might look online to see if any baby gear is on sale. I'm not actually sure if I've ever gone out shopping on Black Friday, it's just not my thing.

I like that someone posted cyber deals earlier. I like things that don't require schlepping the kids from the house.

                      Black Friday Shopping

Waiting to see if DH's christmas present drops any further on Amazon for tomorrow.
If not, I'll pull the trigger mid-day.

I only do online. I don't have to leave my cave. 😄

Count me in for somebody who can't deal with Black Friday crowds...it's pure madness! We saw people lined up in front of H&M on our way back from hanksgiving dinner...
