As I'm sitting here baking cookies, scooping them out with my cookie scoop, I'm thinking about how much I FLOVE my cookie scoop (and my KitchenAid mixer, but that's another level). I feel like it changed my life with respect to baking cookies. Maybe a little over the top, but seriously, I love this thing, and I use it for all kinds of baking (portioning out muffins, for example). What kitchen or home gadgets do you love?

My vitamix is my fav I think. I have so many small gadgets, and usually tend to get sick of them.
I'm getting a sous vide for Christmas, hoping that becomes my new favorite - but it also isn't really a little gadget, I guess it's more of an appliance?
I loved my chopper (http://www.williams-sonoma.com/m/pro...=PRODUCTSEARCH) but the blades are really hard for me to change for some reason. It was killing my thumbs, so I just sort of stopped using it.
Ohhh I absolutely love my cherry pitter, although I only use it for olives (and usually only the trader joes olive medley - fantastic for Greek salads!).

Anyone have one of these: http://www.williams-sonoma.com/m/pro...egetable-tools ?
I've been considering one. Looks really fun... If it actually works as advertised... Which is always the issue!

I have the vitamix 6300. I don't think it's the bottom of the line, but not sure how much of a difference there is. Mine has some presets, but I don't think you really need them. I got mine at Costco - they don't always have it, I think they usually have a less expensive version. This one is usually only there when they have the demonstrations in store.
I don't know anything about Breville blenders.

I'd go with the Vitamix, Mapplebum.
That's probably my husband's favorite. I'd say on a day in, day out basis that mine is the coffee maker. 😄
