Amazon Prime Now (the two hour delivery service in NYC), just delivered $100 worth of beauty products etc. that we didn't order (instead of the Universal Remote we DID order). DH called and they said to keep it and they would give us a $10 credit for our trouble (oh yes, I am SO put out &#128521 and send our universal remote later today.

So excited for my upcoming home manicure and facial! 😄

I'm curious.., was wondering yesterday whether anyone ever wins the free grocery lottery at TJs for bringing your own bags. My DH is obsessed with entering - I usually forget. But in the like 7 years shopping there... No free groceries.

Yeah. It was a huge event for us, but we went every other week. Once while we were there some semi famous Broadway actress got in a physical fight with some woman over the last bottle of cilantro dressing. Super intense!!!

Yes, I won the lottery of life for my family!

I once won tickets to a Billy Joel concert in a radio contest (not on air but the DJs were doing some promotional work on site). There literally was one other person there to answer the questions, so no great Billy Joel trivia prowess on my part.

In small local races, I have actually been placing in my age group since turning 40. Truly, honestly, really I'm NOT that fast. Nonetheless, if the field of runners is medium to smallish and the distance is over 10k, my times are occasionally good enough to get some donated swag. It only took me 30 years to be competitive! Hell at this rate I'll qualify for Boston when I turn 80. My haul so far is a $50 gift certificate to Mitchell's fish market, a $25 running store gift certificate, and some coupons for free Chipotle burritos. It helps cover the cost of entry fees.

The local natural-parenting boutique just opened a second location closer to my house (the same place I went with [MENTION=1890]niener[/MENTION], [MENTION=1013]Vanquisher[/MENTION], and [MENTION=1420]GreyhoundsRUs[/MENTION]). I vaguely remember entering a contest of some sort through a parenting blog/facebook page. I got an e-mail from them today saying that I won a $50 gift card!
