2010 Lexus HS250 Hybrid. I love it because it's sporty looking for a hybrid, but Lexus stopped making them after two years.

DH drives a 2012 Impreza hatchback with NAV. You can pry my car from my cold, dead hand. Love that bad boy!

We also have two Subarus.
I just got a 2015 Legacy. I like that it is still a car (I don't like driving big), but has AWD and a slew of alerts and extra safety features. Much better for this climate than my manual transmission 2002 Saturn that was recently totaled in a snow-related collision.
DH has a 2010 Forester. His has the ski racks. We are a total cliche here in Subaru country.Julia - legislative process lover and general government nerd, married to a PICU & Medical Ethics attending, raising a toddler son and expecting a baby daughter Oct '16.

I'm still hauling around my gang, in our "station wagon on steroids!" It's a 2008 Mercedes R350.
When Z uses his "land-shark," I prefer to drive the Infiniti G37x, it's what he normally uses for his commute.
For me it is a more practcal, not to mention "zippier" option, when there's 5 or less of us!Last edited by Momo; 02-24-2015, 01:28 PM.

I drive a 2010 gray Acura TSX with the technology package. I really love it! It's roomy enough for me, it fits E in the back seat well, and it's got a huge trunk for a sedan. Hubby has a 2013 Ford Edge that I drive from time to time. I'll probably give in and get a small SUV for my next car to haul around kids, currently thinking about an Acura MDX or a Toyota Highlander.Allison - professor; wife to a urology attending; mom to baby girl E (11/13), baby boy C (2/16), and a spoiled cat; knitter and hoarder of yarn; photographer

We have DS1's convertible forward facing in DH's car, but have never placed one rear facing in there yet.
I do know that the Diono radian would never fit rear facing in either car, just because of how long it is.

I really like Subarus, but they're not practical for us. DH is 6'3" and DS is already almost my height (5'6") and he's only 12.
We test drive vehicles at least once with DH sitting in the back seats because our youngest will likely be taller than him. We want to make sure DS will be comfortable in the back seats.

Dave, I *love* your vehicle! I want it!
I drive a 2009 Mercedes GL450. I still love it, but that bastard almost killed me last week by sliding right through a red light. I suppose this means I should break down and buy snow tires?? @SuzySunshine, it's got 3 rows but it's not outrageously large. It drives really well (when it's not snowing) and has a super tight turning radius.

BonBon I've actually looked at those, they are the exact same size as my Acadia.
As for your comment about the snow tires, that is what bugs me about my Acadia. When I drive it in the winter I feel like I need snow tires but in ALL the years we lived in MN I never needed snow tires on my Santa Fe. I just want a 3 row SUV that is slightly smaller and handles better!Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.
