What were your pets names?
My family has been split on names for the puppy, but DH and DD11 really like Tempy (we're Bones fans) and the breeder named each puppy after a bones character (Tempy, Angela, Booth and Hodgans). Tempy's character in Bones is very smart, calm and rationale. I'm hoping hold true for the dog too. I wanted a Victorian British name. My preferences were "Winne" for Winnafred or Trudy. I was clearly vetoed. I can call her Temperance though. So I still kinda get my way.
Growing up we had my parents were big on The Beatles so we had:
Sgt. Pepper-cat
Sadie- 2 different times for two different dogs
Rocky (Racoon)- tabby cat
Ernie-dog rehomed with us and already named
Shawnacee-mom's sheltie, I think she was going for a Celtic name because of the Scottish heritage of the breed
Bonkers-because the cat was truly insane!!
Orie-black and white cat my mom rescued through the newpaper, kittens and mom found on a naval ship
Barley-current beagle they have, no very smart apparently My dad brews beer so I think that's where Barley came from
Our neighbor's have a labradoodle named Piper. Love that name. Pippin would be cute too, but too close and confusing for neighbor dogs.
The neighbor's down the street just rehomed a hyperactive lab named Luna. She's with a new married fireman that runs and brings her along to work.
My Grandmother has a Pomeranian named Winston.
Pet names are so much fun.
