I'm not much help in the clothes department. I live in Danksin yoga pants from Target and t-shirts from my travels--yesterday's was the LA Coroner's office. For dressier stuff I like Coldwater Creek (they have lots of pretty feminine things that are actually washable) and the closeset I get to a designer is Liz Claiborne (its well made and classic enough to wear for more than one season). I picked up a very pretty navy linen blouse at JC Penney yesterday--they have awesome sales every now and then.

I have two distinct wardrobes- travel clothes and regular clothes.

Most of my travel clothes come from Dress Barn, because I'm not going to kill myself if my suitcase is lost and nothing in it cost more than 40 bucks. I think of them as one ro two season disposable clothes. My work wardrobe is black pants and some top/jacket/sweater and shoes. Washable, foldable, wrinkle free.

My regular clothes are usually from J. Jill. Linens, jeans, etc.

My shoes are Birkenstock- off eBay at half price. (I wear the Birkentock Footprints loafers for work.
