My memory absolutely stinks... Our match day was 25 years ago. If I remember correctly there was a lot going on: my granddad was moving out of his lifelong home to go to a nursing home and I went to help out. My husband's grandfather was dying and died of an aneurysm that week. I think I was there the actual day to take it out of the mailbox. Our first choice was Temple and our 2nd choice was Oklahoma, which is what we got. I think Southwestern was 3rd but I really don't remember anymore. We looked at each other and thought, "What have we done." since neither of us had been out of Texas. However, we LOVED it there..nice people and believe it or not nice weather. There were no really bad tornadoes the 5 years we were there. That said, the Oklahoma Bombing happened while we were there.. So incredibly sad. Anyway, that is all my pitiful mind can remember about it.
