Fashion food of the month and crazy restrictive diets du jour.

Kale was the superfood for awhile.

Now Cauliflower is having its day.

I'm a fan of both, but meh.

And crazy adherents to cult-like diets for nonmedical reasons: I don't eat meat, gluten, dairy, legumes, fish, eggs, rice...

WHAT? You do you, mmkay? Let's just not post about it constantly.

The moms at swim team who choose to do yoga just outside the door to the pool so everyone sees you as you go in. Really? Could the outfits be any tinier? There is a nice grassy area off to the side but really close to the outdoor pool yet they block the door. Sigh.

Swim suits that don't do much to cover areas at a family pool on adults. "Would you like some fabric for your boobs?" Speedos for men. The bottoms for women that are cut so your butt hangs out on purpose it just too much yuck for me. I don't care how fit you are (or aren't). If you have kids and your ass is hanging out, what really is the statement you are trying to make? It boggles the mind.

Call me a prude but a peacock string bikini on a 47 year old woman at a family pool is just --- (insert adjective here).
It's kind of like the gold chain and the red sports car for men. Just....why?

Groups like Next door and local community groups on Facebook labeled the officious "Concerned Parents of (insert town name)".

People are f***ing crazy. Seriously. 200+ posts and a raging debate about an old tree being cut.
People openly bragging about their mommy wine, their whisky club, their beer while golfing, posting their raging Vegas getaway in one post and then getting all *fire and brimstone* sanctimonious because....wait for it...teenagers are rebelling and drinking. OMG, you all. Hypocrisy much?


I think that these apps make me second guess where I live.
