I thought of you when I saw a cheesy mommy meme today. It gave you a "job title" based on the number of kids you have and the color of your minivan. About 4 of 8 options were different shades of gray, lol! (And alas there was not even a choice for blue...)

Is he a car guy? Maybe it hurts more for the car guys? Mine only cares that it can fit his bike and our children without breaking a sweat

Yes, he is a car guy. He did actually drive it for the first time over the weekend, at least. There are some annoying things he didn't like, like the auto idle when you brake (I've just mostly gotten used to it), but whatever. I still love my sliding doors, and the kids love the TV. E can open her door, close it, and buckle herself in without my help, and C will get there eventually. And we drove with 6 people the other day too, which was super easy!

Our Sedona died a horrible death a few weeks ago with just 91k miles on it. I take everything back about it being a serviceable vehicle. Today we bought a 2015 Sienna. It is so snazzy!

10 years ago we bought our beloved Sienna. I can tell you a million reasons to go mini van!!!! Especially if you are like our family in which we do not live near family--when we are ever near family (grandparents) we load the whole family in and can do trips together. Its easier on your back when putting kids (especially toddlers and infants) in. I use it as a pick up truck and it has had everything from Christmas trees, to hay bales, to small appliances. I can take the entire neighborhood of kids to birthday parties. Its easier to see out of. They are the most comfy long trip vehicle. They are most convenient for nursing babies and/or changing diapers or tailgating!!!! And once yours gets as old as mine, it is so beat up and stained up that you don't cringe when a kid takes his scooter down the side of it! You just say....eh. Not the first scratch. Won't be the last. My husband got a SECOND Sienna...a new one with leather seats and a moon roof. I am not wanting to get rid of my original despite it's almost 200,000K. Once you go mini van....you will never go back!!!
