Thanks for the family activity advice. I'll try out the fruit farm and Lake Farmpark. (Someone else mentioned that one to me today ) I've already checked out Holden Arboreteum and the zoo. Drew Carey was right- Cleveland rocks! I wish I had family nearby so DH and I could try out those margaritas.....Oh, for the days BK (before kids) I can wait on the yoga studio info. Whenever you think of it--not much time out of the house these days with the kids off for the summer and hubby fitting into the new job.

Angie -- you might want to check into summer camps at your local zoo. I was able to get Bryn signed up for a week of zoo camp (she'll be a "penguin" for a week). I figured that the camp would be sold out but they did have a few slots left. We've heard it is great fun. Sometimes botanic gardens and museums and such have camps -- good way to meet other kids too (and other parents!). The community center by our house has summer stuff too like art camps, soccer and other sports, etc.

I think it's a good idea to call and politely pester about the swimpool. If a family moved mid-summer they might have freed up a slot.
Unfortunately, our local public pool is closed for renovation. The good news is that it's being turned into one of those cool zero-depth pools with all the fun play equipment and water slides for next summer. Woohoo! There are others a little further away but I'm not organized enough (yet!) to get the pool bag and kids to the pool.

Glad to here that Cleveland is treating you well.
