.) It is a gorgeous summer day (a rarity this year) and the kids are having a blast playing outside...

.) I got to get together with Kelly yesterday so that our boys could play. It's so nice to be able to sit down and connect in real life. I really needed it!

.) My oldest son has met a friend that he really connects with...finally....he has struggled so much and he is so happy now. I'm just so happy to see him stepping out of his shell and into this friendship. At the same time, my daughter is coming into her own and is developing a great friendship as well. I see her blossoming and am amazed at how grown-up she is becoming. Alex is growing out of the pre-school stage and into the school-aged stage. I still think of him as my 'baby' and I just am amazed at the changes in him. My little guy is crawling, pulling himself up and exploring. Every day I think about how lucky I am.

.) We planned our first vacation in.....10 years of marriage for the end of August. We are all going to a great camping cabin with a water park, etc...and we paid for it already! Financially our lives look so much better than they did right out of fellowship. We are starting to drive through that light that used to be at the end of the tunnel and are getting to see the landscape on the other side.

.) I got my paycheck today for the work that I did earlier this summer... 8) half will go in my savings account...but I'm planning on shopping too.
