My kids are going as a nerd, (my oldest) the Hulk, (middle son) and a lion (or "wion", as my youngest puts it). They are very excited about the big night!

I finally bought some candy on Wednesday and haven't gotten into it yet!

You're better than me Sally, I bought mine on Thursday and am sitting here eating whoppers as I type.

Oh, believe me, Sue, I have thought about the candy several times today and if DH had been called in at all, I would already be eating it.

Since he is around more now, he is getting a true picture of my sweets addiction, which I was able to keep hidden during residency without even trying, since he was never home. I hate seeing the look of shock that comes across his face when he realizes how much candy I can actually eat in one sitting, so I try not to give in when he is around.

        Here's to chocolate!

This is totally off topic but my husband finally found a decent military dentist (apparently a breed few and far between- and we spouses and dependents don't see the military dentists). So, this guy has been redoing a lot of work Rick had done when he was enlisted. (Some due to age and some due to shoody work). Rick is a TOTAL candy hound- and usually the worst kinds of candies- the sticky, sweet, hard candies, the kind like those citrus flavored altoids-. His dentist told him under NO circumstances is he to EVER eat that stuff again. Then this week he went again for more work and he is now banned from half and half. According to the dentist, if you use half and half in your coffee and don't immediately brush your teeth, it's as bad as the sticky sweet candy. He's a grouchy man with just his 2% in the am!

Oh geez--I'm screwed! Not only do I love any kind of candy, but I put a lot of crap in my coffee as well (including half and half or full cream if it's available). That's probably why I had to go through 2 root canals a few months ago. I fully intend to give up coffee altogether once the baby turns 1 year old.

For our boy/girl twins, I had to do the ultimate movie twins... they went as Luke and Leia . I went as a Pregnant Skelaton! My sister in law (who should be an art major!) made the costume a few years ago when she was prego for Halloween, so I borrowed the costume from here - it is the funniest thing in the world - she painted everything on a black sweatshirt and black pants... including the little skelaton fetus!
