You could always sign up for the economy plan- 4 movies a month for $13. It works out to $3.25 a movie, which is about what I would pay at Blockbuster, but I would only have it for 2 days, which I would end up paying late fees on.

Now right now in our lives we just don't watch enough movies to get the unlimited plan, so the economy works out good. Not to mention the thought of trying to pick out a movie with my husband and two children makes me cringe. We would be banned for life from Blockbuster because my children would take all of their displays apart. :>

I just checked, and we average almost 8 movies a month. We would actually get rid of cable before we would get rid of Netflix (we had Netflix but not cable for quite a while)--the philosophy being that movies are usually a better use of time than TV, or that film is an art form but TV is an entertaining wasteland. Or something like that. Mostly we just like movies.

Hrm. We haven't got cable and since we hate driving, the two mile walk (or OCCASIONALLY) drive to the movie store doesn't get made very often. We've considered Netflix...hubby says maybe after his surgery rotation.

            Netflix

I love Netflix! It is so simple and has saved me so much money (or atleast it did when Blockbuster had late fees). It is so conveinent. I love getting a new movie that I forgot I ordered. Right now I have .....
Spiderman 2 (too 10 yr old boyish for me - hubby's pic)
Garden State (loved it - Portman is great)
The Clearing (sad - but relevant to us - testing the bonds/love of marriage).
