I didn't check in over the weekend so I missed this! How was your trip? Did you find a house? How did you like our fair city? Saturday was probably not the best day to see Ann Arbor for the first time (gray, windy, and cold); I promise, it's not like that all the time. I hope the house-hunting went well!!

Well - we did it. A 3-day whirl-wind tour of Ann Arbor and a home purchased. We arrived on Sunday and were there for the glorious weather on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Fortunately, we left on the rainy Thursday.

We saw about 35 houses in 2.5 days and found "the one" at noon on Tuesday. We wrote on it that night, offered the next morning and got confirmation of the purchase agreement that afternoon. Talk about wild.

Anyway - we're happy that things worked out and we got the closing date we wanted and the house we wanted. See you at the end of May, Ann Arbor!!

Fantastic! That's great that you found a house -- and the house that you wanted.
