I'm kind of a geek about this, but we have some good ones between dh and I. List some of your top "within 6 degrees" here ... and we'll see who we can connect. Here's my best:
DH's uncle sat on Gandhi's lap (lived in the same commune).
My grandfather met the Queen of England during WWII
My friend's military husband flew Condi Rice to Afghanistan, while another friend of theirs flew Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey (who had the cooler "cargo"?)
My former roommate interned at "The Tonight Show" (Jay Leno era), which connects a LOT.
My cousin worked on "Unsolved Mysteries" and met Robert Stack (old Hollywood) and Keely Shay Smith (married to Pierce Brosnan) several times.
She (my cousin) also worked for Dorthea and Donald Petrie, Donald directed Sydney Poitier and Jack Lemmon, and their son wrote Beverly Hills Cop, and produced Miss Congeniality.
My close friend from childhood interviewed Donald Trump in his office (not a reporter pool)
.... there are more, but let's see who we connect in the meantime
Pathetic note: NONE of these are my personal experience ... ALL are depending on relatives or friends for the connection.
