Oh, yeah- holidays and events- I've blocked that out.
He missed: our 1st anniversary, New Year's Eve, my cousin's wedding, a family reunion, my Dad's 60th birthday party, and his father's funeral. I also gave up on Valentine's day (maybe we should have a Secret Valentine exchange instead of the Santa one) after the second year of ordering my own gift from Red Envelope.
This man has lost so many hours of leave from the Army that it makes me sick. Why give them 30 days leave if they can't use it? That's just cruel.
