  • Is anyone here still in their PJ's?

besides...errrr....me. Obviously, I need to get upstairs and get dressed. Though I have managed to do laundry and clean the kitchen today, I just realized that I'm still not dressed. Maybe my mil needs to come back and whip me back into shape!

Not today, but you caught me on a weird day, I guess. Normally this would have been a good bet for someone to make.

Maybe my mil needs to come back and whip me back into shape!
I can't beleive you just uttered those words. Shh your mouth, that's crazy talk![/quote]

Where is the "raising my hand" emoticon. Technically not my jammies, but there's not been a shower in my life yet today, and I've dealt with too much poop already today. Let's just say that attempt #1 at underwear for DS#2 did not go well.

No pjs but stinky horrible exercise class clothes. alas, no shower here, either. I have 7 hours before my husband gets home. I'll find 10 minutes somewhere. I did laundry yesterday so at least I have clean undies.

I so want "what not to wear" to come find me and give me 1500 in a new wardrobe.

        Please?

Is it down to $1500 now? I thought it was $5000?

Heck, I'd take 100 bucks for new socks and a bra...

Speaking of which...have you ever been 'fitted' for a bra? I haven't and when the host was talking with one of her guests she nearly had a heart attack that she hadn't had a proper fitting. I thought "shopko doesn't do fittings"

Funny you should ask- but Oprah did a show on that yesterday and 94% of her audience were wearing the wrong sized bra.

So the Stroller Strides ladies decided that we're going to go get fitted at Nordstrom for one Mom's Night Out. Then go have a glass of wine or something and laugh hysterically.

They say every time you gain or lose 5 pounds, get pregnant, stop nursing etc, you should get your boobs and your feet remeasured.

                  Nice, huh?

                  Jenn

PS- they don't have fitters at the PX, either

Ironically, my mom works at Victoria's Secret Catalogue and my underwear drawer is STILL shameful!

But who has $100 bucks to shell out for a set of matching bra and panties.

Not me! I hand them the stuff to throw away. I'd show them where the other even more horrible stuff is. I'd hold the trash can!!

I keep hoping that someone will nominate me. I'm wearing jogging tights from 10 years ago. I hope they're not too see-through. Guess the people on the Metro will find out whether I'm a real redhead someday...

I would love to be on What Not To Wear. I have no shame, and would do just about anything for a new wardrobe.
Regarding the bra, I finally got fitted for a bra at VS, and I was wearing the right size. But they did introduce me to the Ipex, was is the most comfortable bra I've ever worn.
Jammies--I actually showered and got dressed today at a decent time, but any other day (unless it was my day to take the kids to school) you might find me in my jammies until lunchtime. Luckily, I groomed today, because dh came home for lunch.

I think the hosts can be a little harsh though...I'd be in tears at some of the things that have been said....

I like the idea of the mom's night out bra fitting at Nordstroms... At this point though, I don't need bra's to hold the girls.....tube socks will do

I have been fitted for a bra at this horrible shop in Beachwood called Solomons (watch out Cleveland girls). These old Jewish ladies who've been doing this for years walk in the fitting room and tell you to strip down - they reach in and move stuff around - making comments all along the way. I got "are you planning to lose any weight before the wedding?" Mind you, I was about 50lbs lighter than I am now, and the thinnest I'd been since middle school.

It's humiliating - but they sure know the right bra to hold the girls.
