    A Great Find

Just wanted to share a great find with everyone. Looking through the Garnet Hill catalog made me immediately think of iMSN. The style of clothing is very casually elegant and I especially like their shoe selections. Here's a link to their sales page

Nellie, can I have your shoe cast-off's??? I don't think you've ever put a shoe on here that I didn't like!

Vishenka...I LOVE those jeweled espadrilles! They are exactly what I was looking for.

What do you think about sweater coats? Yea or nay? I usually wear them with flat front khakis and a fitted tee. (well, when I'm skinny I do)

            Vishenka,
What's the word on gaucho pants? I see them popping up lately, but never looking good in the whole outfit.

For those of us whose best asset is not our legs, butt, and hips I'm so ready for this whole gaucho craziness to be gone. You'll never catch me in those.

Vishenka, I've been meaning to ask for some while. What is the rule on when to wear whites? Also, I have help matching up hosiery with outfits. Can you help with some basic guidelines?

Sorry Dagny never got around to answering this. While I like them in general (even have 2 myself), this season is all about the trench casual looking blazers. I'd save the sweater coats for the fall.

I agree with Tara on this, unless you're tall and skinny, I'd skip them altogether. The knit elastic ones can be worn to the gym, beach and for cleaning the house, but I'd stick to either shorts or long pants for anything else.

These days you can wear white year-round. Although in the winter, I'd stick with a more ivory shade, also known as winter-white. In the spring and summer crisp white looks better than ivory though. In order to eliminate problems, stick with nude (or whatever shades matches your skin tone). Depending on your style and comfort level you can spice up the outfit with nude fishnets or a funkier design or just stick to regular nylons. Also, don't wear hosiery with linen or cotton skirts (unless it's conservative outfit and you're required for work).
