I actually cross stitch as well! I have started making this baby blanket for my brother and his wife, but I'm not sure I'm going to finish. It's quite a big project!!

As for other creative things, I play flute in the local community band. I would love to get into teaching lessons....

I have to say, taking these dance classes is a BLAST! Everyone should take ballroom!

So far, SO and I have learned the Rhumba and Swing and I'm going by myself tonight for the Foxtrot! :dance

I was junior ballroom dance champion! Dancing with the Stars is my favorite show.

Wait till you learn Samba, Cha-cha, and Quickstep. I love those!

I already know a little bit of Cha-Cha and Salsa from previous dancing but I'm excited to learn more. I have always danced but I did mostly jazz and hip-hop. This more controlled style is really fun, too!

I started knitting about ten months ago and I knit every day. I think I'm obsessed mostly because I can finally create something and have it not look like it was constructed by a toddler. I especially love to make socks. It's such a satisfying knit. My husband chides me for spending ten hours making something that I could buy at wal-mart for a dollar, but then again, he spends three days on a sourdough bread. Anyone have a beast in the refrigerator? eugh!

Ballet, well dance but mostly ballet. I used to do ballet (for about 14 years) then quit when it was either become professional and do the nomad life or go to college.

Here is a little webpage I put together of some pics from when I was dancing http://www.flickr.com/photos/24315536@N00/

Thanks! Yah I have thought about teaching, but I'm so out of shape and having never gone professional it is really hard to find a job teaching unless I wanted to do little, little kids which could be fun...I still do go and take class occassionally at my old ballet school but now I feel like one of the old women haha (im 22 )

Travelling is my passion, so my favorite creative outlet is journaling (writing is a form of art, right?), photography and scrapbooking my adventures to Europe and within the United States. Though my endless perfectionism gets in the way of timely completion of the projects, they are my most precious possession in the end. Looking back on trips to France, Italy, Spain, Ireland, Prague, California, England, Hungary keeps me looking toward more in the future (hopefully!).
