Congrats on you new place. My spouse and I have lived in Michigan and Cleveland and New York and I think you will really like Michigan - except for the cloudy weather with all of the lakes. The people are so nice, just like Missouri. Good luck,

Thanks Karl! We really thought Michigan was a beautiful place, even the suburbs of Detroit. We drove in across I-94 through Kalamazoo, Ann Arbor, etc, so we got to see a good bit of it. I am kind of looking forward to living there-- something beside farm country will be nice for a while!

Congratulations Wendy, I hope you will be happy in your new home. I'm sorry I won't be meeting you in New Jersey. We are looking at houses here. We bought this one in October but it is turning into a money pit. "it has potential"!!!!! Those words will forever haunt me.

How is the packing coming along? I don't envy you, having just finished our move. We were lucky this time though to have things packed for us. Wow...in just a few weeks you will be in your new town....I hope the transition is a smooth one. Keep us posted on your move.
