Hmmm.. that book is out of print? I think that maybe Dave went to the guy's website (sorry i don't know what it is other than to do a search by either book name or author name) and actually ordered it from him. It seems like a took a few weeks to arrive, but it did arrive. It just got updated last year, so it surprises me that it is out of print. Maybe he just prints them as he has demand. I'll ask Dave how he got his, but I'm pretty sure he ordered it directly. Sorry I didn't mention that in the original post. I had forgotten about it

OK- here's a few resources I've found for you:

The book I mentioned- only so many are printed, then they are reprinted when there is enough demand for them. That's why you got that "out of print" message. Try the KCOM bookstore. They had about 6 copies of it when we moved 3 weeks ago. Their website is: http://www.matthewsstores.com/kcom/

The manager's (Peggy Mikel) phone # and email: (660) 665-1251

      pmikel@kcom.edu

Oh- Dave just found his copy of the book. The ISBN is 0-9646824-0-0

The author's (Dr. Jeremy Weiss, DO) email is Navybean@aol.com

As far as contacting KCOM students that have matched into anesthesiology, try http://www.kcomstudents.org. It was run by a student that just graduated from KCOM- Victor. It has the match list from this year's graduating class. It should have an email link to Victor on it (he's the site owner and the webmaster). If you decide to go this route, tell them that Dave Kelley referred you to him. Hopefully that will get you a little further than just emailing out of the blue.

      Hope this helps!

No problem! Glad to do it! The only thing I ask is that you share the stuff you go through so that when we are doing it all next year I'll have some idea of what it'll be like. Deal?

Anything that I can help with, just let me know. I should be an expert by the time we get done!

            Thanks again.
