I do this too. I hate folding laundry! It helps if you watch TV while doing it though. Then I have all these stacks of folded clothes that I also hate putting away!

Too funny...are idiosyncratic ways keep mounting! I just can't relinquish the way I wash our clothes. I am sooo picky about stain treating, sorting cleaning agents, temperatures, soaking time allotment, etc. It's easier to just let myJenn fold. I will allow her to do swimming towels & suits, as well as sheets and blankets. I am particular about folding (not that I get around to it in a timely fashion)...but I let her from time to time; her way suffices.

have a cleaning lady 6 hours every other week....every week would be nice!

definitely would love to have someone handle all the laundry!!!!

would love to have a driver to help out when I need to take two or three kids two or three different places at the same time

someone to cook for us two or three nights a week

someone to make a grocery list, get the groceries, and put them away

someone to subtract our receipts and pay the bills

And on the subject of laundry......when DH was a resident, I was known to often sleep beside piles of folded clothes, all on his side of the bed! It got so that I was almost offended when he came home because it meant I *had* to put away the laundry!

I could use this! I am about to ask my next-door neighbor - someone I don't know THAT well - to take one of my kids to baseball or softball Wednesday night.

            My list:
            nanny
            housekeeper to do it all
            lawn service
            decorator/organizer
            handyman

Googling dog poop services on Whidbey now, that sounds fab...we currently have a high school boy mowing the lawn in our absence and will probably keep him after we move. I want the cooking/cleaning/gardening for myself, but landscape design help and a mother's helper to let me clean unmolested would be lovely.

I'm getting Mieke groomed before we move. I have given her baths with the garden hose previously, but in the past six months she's developed mats, and I just don't see tackling it while also keeping track of the kids. Hopefully I can get her back to a mat-free state and not need a groomer after we move.

I dream of doing laundry in my new sunny airy laundry room. Sigh. I even love folding if I do it promptly (mm, fresh warm clothes); I'm going to have a folding table in there so I don't take over the dining room table.

I would love to have someone do the grocery shopping for me and also a pre-cleaning service....someone to pick up all of the stray toys before the cleaning ladies get here.

I have Nikolai trained to pick up his stuff the night before she comes. I just remind him that she puts everything away in places he can't reach so if he wants access to his toys, he needs to put them where he wants them.

(of course, he is only allowed to keep his toys in his room, so it's easier. we don't have a playroom area.)

I wish I could train Moxie to do this. The housekeeper puts all her doggy toys in high places all over the house. Then I have to find them all after she leaves.

Looking for dog toys - only two places - under our bed and in their crates - not in their toy box

The problem is that Moxie panics when we cannot find her toys. She knows where she left them and gets upset when they are moved. And she is usually looking for a specific toy so we'll find one and she'll reject it.

Dog poop scooping sounds like such a good idea. If/when we get another dog, I'll have to think about that. I hate having to run out ahead of the kids and scoop so they can play in the grass (but I hate cleaning poo off shoes even more).

We have a dog poop removal service. It is the best $$ I have ever spent. Dude got a psych degree, could not get a job and decided to start his own poop scooping company. His time is flexible, he loves being outside, loves dogs and the business is doing so well that he has employees and now expanded to dog sitting/walking services.
Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!
