The first photo is the display in the antique shop. They we just draped over ceiling beams. The middle sized one is the lowest. I think makes sense that the biggest would be lowest. Also, I'm thinking about how they will look from the stairs inside the house too. If they look good from the window, they'll look good from the stairs, right?

      Home Improvements

Looking back at the original picture, I think I'd want the middle one centered on the window from top to bottom, largest with the bottom the night the borrow of the window, and smallest with the top at the top of the window. All three will be visible in the window.

Triangle cluster, lowest on the bottom to smallest on "top" I'd either want the largest one centered to that window (top to bottom) so that it looks like there's just one light from street view, or have all three visible. Is there enough height to space them so the largest is centered in the window, next is just above the window, and third is spaced another equal height up toward the ceiling?

I think the window is large enough that all three can show. The window is huge.

Yes! Since the window would act as a frame it would look good from all angles. I can't wait to see how it turns out, it is going to look absolutely stunning! Go with your gut on it and it will look great.

Wait, what? You mean, center the middle sized one with the smallest above and largest below. All three in the window. Is that right?

I'm thinking of a triangular formation with the smallest and middle closer to the window. So, I'd use the current spot for the largest. Then make two more in front of it nearer to the window in a sort of equilateral triangle format. Then staggering the height of the fixtures so the largest is lowest and smallest highest.

I'm a little worried about light bulbs. If we use LED bulbs, we shouldn't have to change them. But I had a newish LED bulb burn out the other day. We don't have a tall enough ladder to change these ourselves and we'd have to take apart the lamps to access the bulb.

I meant center the largest, left to right, but the middle sided top to bottom. Does that make sense? That's how I envision it, but I'd also have the electrician hang the largest where the current light is and then hold the others so you can visualize it before her hangs anything.

Not sure. It's a square window. If the largest is center bottom, then the middle center of the window, they will be directly on top of each other like a snow man. I don't think that's what you mean. I'm thinking you mean, the largest off the current spot which will be bottom center, furthest from the window. Then the middle sized off to the right or left of that but still in the window, centered top to bottom. Then the smallest off to the right or left (opposite of the middle-sized) in the top of the window frame. Is that right? So hard without drawings. I'm sitting here with three Styrofoam spheres, paper and pencil.

They are LED bulbs so hopefully, not often. The fixtures need to be opened to change the bulbs so we'd probably need an electrician or someone with a very tall ladder.

I love led bulbs! They should last a good long while.
