                        Loving all these!

I made newborn fleece footie pajamas this weekend -- my first attempt at sewing something with more than just a couple of straight lines, plus a zipper. A few mistakes here and there but overall it turned out better than I expected. Hopefully baby girl isn't gigantic and she can fit!

I've been working on a knitted blanket for a friend for well over a year now. Partly life got in the way, but partly the blanket turned out much more gigantic than I expected - it was written for fingering weight, and I converted it to worsted, dropping a pattern repeat. It has a knitted on edging, which I had never done before, and I feel like it's never going to end! I'm 3/4 of the way through that now and will hopefully be done soon! It's a beautiful pattern, I just wish it wasn't such a pain!

And, here's my collage of pictures from February:
Allison - professor; wife to a urology attending; mom to baby girl E (11/13), baby boy C (2/16), and a spoiled cat; knitter and hoarder of yarn; photographer

My jaw just dropped. I can't even sew a straight line. I'm so impressed!
