          I FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a perfect day out! Partly sunny in the 50s. The fan support was fantastic! So many people were out and about -- I felt some Twin Cities love big time! I finished in 5hrs 17mins. Averaged about 12min miles. I was at 2hrs 25mins at the halfway point and was feeling pretty good. My ankle started to give me some troubles around mile 15 or so and I switched from 8min run 2min walk to 5min run 5min walk. Keeping a steady pace with positive self-talk the whole race I don't think I hit "the wall". I started to tear up as I saw the finish line with the final .2miles to go it was so emotional and felt like such a huge accomplishment!

Thanks everyone for all the good karma and good luck wishes!!!
