You guys are too sweet! Thanks so much for all the congrats!

I am hurting big time today. I was ready for some physical soreness, but this is unbelievable! Even with 2 Aleve, I'm hobbling around and bracing myself on furniture like my 95 yr old grandmother! I'm also feeling a big emotional exhaustion today. Maybe it's because it's a Monday, or because I had a horrible night's rest, or probably both.

One scary thing that is on my mind is that DH thinks I partially tore my tibilias posterior tendon It's one of the tendons the inside part of your foot. It wraps around the ankle bone and helps keep the arch up. I have really bad feet to begin with and have always worn orthotics. I knew it was bugging me when I was running, but I just stopped to tighten my laces and slowed down a bit. First my ankle bone was bruised looking then turned red. DH and his dad who is also a doc, both think I partially tore the tendon and the redness is bleeding under the skin. Of course I turned to Google to search it and it has freaked me out. Flat feet, surgery, no activity...not sure if I should go see a specialist or not.

Ouch. I think it sounds like a good idea to get it checked out. I hope it is ok.
