  • January encouragement

I am determined to get rid of the last of the baby weight so that I can hit this summer smokin' hot. Or at least not jiggly. I have adorable bikinis that I want to wear again.

I have been really consistant about using loseit and exercising. Documenting it really helps me be watchful about what I eat, especially when I know someone else will see me flub up.

ummm ... you're both already really hawt, but I am ALL FOR personal health and fitness these days. THIS IS THE YEAR. I made great strides last year, and I am only going to keep it up. Health is a gift, and we must protect it.

the fitness pal app is amazing. It has all kinds of food in memory, and you log it. Plus you can log exercise, and have friends. It is great for support! It is free for the month of Jan, so get it now!!

I have been counting cals and running again.

I need to lose my 11 year old. 65 lbs. Time is not my friend. When you homeschool elementary age, have only 3 hours without your toddler and spend your afternoons/evenings driving to and from the ballet studio, your work-out time is seriously limited. But I will figure something out because I can't go on like this. Joined Weight Watchers online and will go from there.

You can do it V - I think keeping track of what you eat is the hardest thing. Especially as a mother. I am always snacking with the kids and it has. to. stop. That's why actually, diligently, writing it down is the only thing that works for me.

I agree that writing down my food helps so much - the thing I love about LoseIt is that I can see how many cals I have left for the day. I have started putting the foods in before I eat them, too! New scale is being delivered today - the old one was not consistant (like stepping on and off would give wildly different weights). Elliptical will hopefully be here on Friday or Monday at the latest! I need to have more pants that fit again!

I like the loseit app so far. It's far easier than using pen & paper. I'm realizing how much I graze. Between O & myself we have been eating all.day.long. I am definitely feeling better & I've lost a pound of water weight. I was really bloated beforehand. It's nice feeling less tight, if that makes any sense.

Loseit.com has not been working for me today; anyone else having a hard time logging in?

I'd love to, but I don't know how to add a friend. I use it on my phone and it wants me to enter email addresses.

Just weighed myself today, and am down another 5 lbs!!! After all of my cookie baking (and eating), and then travel-eating, and eating out b/c I'd been baking and didn't feel like cooking another thing, and party noshing, I was just really hoping to stay the course for December. Being down at all, let alone 5 is just thrilling to me!!!

                          Yeah Jenn! High five.

I'm stuck on my last five pounds. So far I've logged 14 miles in the first three days of the year. The healthy eating choices are KILLING me. Seriously, it is like the lost week. I want my sugar!

I'm on LoseIt too. My nephew so graciously shared his cold with all of us, so while I want to start adding more exercise I feel like poo. I only wish my appetite suffered a little too!
