Did my spinning class yesterday. This morning went to play pickleball but instead turned around and came home. I have a headache and can't take any medicine. oh and DH brought me a frappe even though I told him I didn't want anything. And clearly I couldn't let it go to waste.

Didn't go to the class today. Had to wait on the Culligan man. So I did some ab work at home....fried my hip flexors because I have ridiculously weak abs (3 C-sections in 4 years and NO ab work in that time).....at least I've figured out what I did and why it messed me up. Trying to get my eating under control. I'm back to stress eating....Mom of 3, Veterinarian

Moonlight, you're killing it on the elliptical! I did some YouTube pilates videos on Saturday but ended up doing something screwy to my arm holding a 9 minute plank (thought I was going to die) but didn't realize it until the mindnumbing pain last night doing a kickboxing DVD.

I initially thought it was just a gimmicky name, but as the instructors talk, it sounds like it's a national program. The instructors go to conferences and learn the specific routines with specific music. They just happen to be the two classes that work best with my schedule.
For cost comparison, it's $5 a class or $40 a month for unlimited classes. It's $3/hr per child for the ChildWatch. $65 a month for unlimited care for 3 kids. This is on top of the CDD fees my landlord pays (I don't know what they are). It's more expensive than the Y but much more convenient. And I'm not going to do the unlimited ChildWatch unless they greatly extend their hours (8-1 M-Sa). Especially since it's only 2 kids on Wed and 3 kids EOWknd. I could use the gym for free (plus ChildWatch)...but I'm not one to work out by myself. I would consider using a cardio machine by myself, but I'd rather do the classes.Mom of 3, Veterinarian
