I'm 6 days in of walking the line with my eating/exercising/tracking on lose it. I was 500+ calories under budget (plan is to lose 1.5lbs a week) last week and I worked out three times, each time 50-60 minutes and the scale has not budged. Not even a tiny bit. I'm so frustrated and disheartened. I need to see a little reward for all my effort.

The scale is an asshole and isn't the end all/be all metric by which to measure fitness progress. I've stopped using a scale and instead keep measurements. It's a more accurate metric for me and has me focusing on how I feel physically about my body changes instead of how I feel emotionally about my progress on a scale.

I read this, and chuckled. Is that okay?

Haha! I was tired of McDonald's so I drove further down to BK. and this is why I wear yoga pants everyday.

I went for a run tonight. I thought I was going to die.

I love the warning label that says to stop if you are short of breath. Um, its a treadmill, unless it isn't going, I am going to be short of breath! I just keep hoping I can get my act together enough to run a 5k again this spring.

I've done power yoga now 4/weeks (sometimes 6) for 18 months. I've GAINED weight. Boo. But I'm so very much stronger. That's why I've just got to stop eating......

I'm also under budget this week. Hoping for "real" weight loss. I went to yoga yesterday and weighed myself afterwards -- I'd lost TEN POUNDS from the day before. Heh. I really do sweat a lot in class. I didn't record that weight - but it sure made me feel good!

Ouch, I'm more sore now than I was this morning. How can I do this again in the morning?

Did an hour and a half on the elliptical because I was feeling really good after my planned hour...went home, made a smoothie and promptly vomited it all up 30 minutes after drinking it. I didn't feel like I overdid it, so I don't know if it was just too much liquid right after my workout or what.

I will post my updated stats after my official weigh-in tomorrow...
