    • Yeah, I'd like it too. I'm 10 days in to calorie restricting and I'm already losing steam. Because that's how wimpy I am..... Today, I've only got 150 calories of my daily amount left - and it's 3:18. I have lots of extra "weekly" calories and I will get more if I exercise but...still. Feeling like a bit of a loser right now. I was STARVING all morning, though.

      • Its called Inside Out Weight Loss. Episode: Dream yourself Slim. i just searched in itunes and found it that way. Its sort of this hippy sounding lady but its exactly what I needed last night! I also like the Jilian Michael Show podcast. Its the nice supportive Jilian that you never get to see and really informative.

        I'm sitting here hungry right now. I called about the bridesmaid dress just wondering when I'll get it. Last I heard (in Nov.) it would be in first of Feb. Now they are saying 4th week of Feb. Took my measurements and I'm still 2 inches too big for the size I ordered in my hips and waist! Oh gezzz. What was I thinking? Don't panic. Don't panic Don't panic. I still have about 10 weeks until alterations.

        • Ugh. That's pressure. I think it can be done, but MAN that will be painful to lose 2 inches in a few weeks. I'm thinking about doing the Aryuverdic cleanse at my yoga studio that starts this weekend. Three weeks with yoga and meetings- with 10 days of lentils and rice only thrown in the middle. I'm hoping it will re-energize my beginning of the year goals right when I'm hitting my slump.

          Or it will kill me.

            Hang in there! Maybe the new class is just what you need!

            I'm trying to go to yoga tonight in about 1.5hrs if DH can make it home. Haven't heard from him in several hours. Not sure if its going to happen or not. It's been nearly a year since I've gone to a yoga class.

                  • Gained 1 lbs despite sticking to diet and exercise all week. Boo. I'm suffering for my early quick loss now. Must stay motivated.

                      Good idea! I don't have any spanx. How many inches or whatever can a person reduce by wearing spanx?

                      Good news, I dropped all the weight I gained last weekend plus a little extra. I'm still on target to lose 2 pounds a week until alterations. I still have a long road to reach my goal weight but this is such a good motivator. haha!

                      • First day back to the gym after 6 weeks and wow, that was hard. Planning on 90 minute vinyasa yoga class Monday and cardio tomorrow. Blech, cardio.

                          • Losing momentum!!! Trying to recommit today after a 500 calorie over budget day yesterday and the intense desire to just Eff. It All. with this diet/exercise/healthy living crap setting in.

                            Hopefully, I'll see some rewards next week. Figure the scale isn't moving soon unless I stop the calorie creep. In other news, I'm still doing 4 times a week at the yoga studio and I have been under budget for the week every week so far on Lose It.

So I started with pork belly cassoulet, followed it with blue crab spaghetti...ate half of the butter poached lobster tail, and although I was dying and so miserably full, I choked down half of a dark chocolate something or other with caramelized hazelnuts and a praline "cookie" base.

                              I've been back on track since then and hope I didn't undo the good things I have been doing. My weight is coming down, for sure. I don't own a scale so I don't know what I weighed when I started.
                              My opinion is you need to live it up once in a while, and when you do, do it right. You TOTALLY DID IT RIGHT!!!

                              Rainbabies, I hope you feel better soon. Puking is pure misery.
