  • Doing great Michele!!!!!!!

    A set back is a setup for a come back, right? Thanks to PMS and cravings I gained last week. Dang it. I'm back to eating better and at the gym yesterday and today. Going back tomorrow. All i can do is keep trying, right?

    I started my new group fitness class called the Happy Class. Oh my I had a really good time! My friend is teaching it at the local university rec center. There's nothing like running around like a fool dancing and getting a good workout with a bunch of 19 year olds---- and keeping up with them!!!

      • Have hit a plateau and am BORED with my diet. Boo. Today was a very bad day although I'm not over my calorie count. I just ate mostly small amounts of crap (2 cookies, half a granola bar, veggies and a chicken breast) and skipped yoga due to snowy roads. As a result I'm nearly at my calorie limit yet still hungry.

        Just venting....

          • My 8:30 am Wednesday class is back! So I did two hours yesterday. Was hard to cycle after weights but I think it's good. Signed the kids up for unlimited childcare. I'm glad I have a job and the mindset to allow myself to pay for the gym. This so wouldn't have been me two years ago. And even though its more expensive than the Y, it's super convenient both geographically and class availability-wise. We also stumbled upon story time at the library after the gym. I think this is my new Wednesday routine!!!

              • I'll friend you. I don't use it to track calories anymore but I'm tracking weight on it. How do I friend someone? I haven't done it since last years big iMSN join. (Or was it two years ago?)

                    • How is everyone doing?

                      Cycling and yoga today because I skipped yesterday for my work event. I have to skip Wednesday's class for a doctors appointment. But I'm still going Saturday before my Orlando girls night trip.

                      I hardly drank any water yesterday because I was so busy. I have been drinking around 3L a day. My weight dropped 2 pounds from not being hydrated! It's crazy that it fluctuates that much. I also ate crap yesterday because of the work event. And I'm feeling it today.

                      I need to get better about adding the at home yoga between my gym workouts. I need it for the flexibility. I've noticed the more I cycle, the tighter my hip flexors get...the yoga warriors help loosen them back up so my sciatics don't rebel.

                      • I was doing really well, but the last 3 days have sucked big ones. I got too busy and ate badly. I still don't understand how to socialize and stick to plan. I have a plan in place for next week.
                        Saw my boss today. She was raving about her new love for spinning class. Thinking about trying it. Hummmm

                        • I had a bad (ish) day too. I don't know why I thought a visit to the local bakery would be a good idea for Sunday. Baked goods are my kryptonite. Let's both get back on track tomorrow!

                          • I have had a bad week! I ran Monday but then my sister and two nieces were here for a visit and then I had/have sick kids so I won't be doing my six miles tomorrow - this week will be better!

                            • I've been pretty good this week (finally back on track), but I'm visiting family and I feel like my mom is kind of unconsciously trying to sabatoge my diet (she's gained weight thru menopause and is freaking out...she was in tears today about it. I feel bad but I'm also trying to live healthy). Portions portions portions for me. I just have to focus on/remember that I'm responsible for the food (and portion size) that goes into my body!

                              • Did a thirty minute Pilates routine on Youtube today because I missed class yesterday and skipped cardio for well, the week. I've been eating less but I feel like I'm gaining weight.
